central access to beautiful parks and local attractions

I loved being able to stroll to the nearby Fowey Aquarium in less than a 10-minute walk and enjoy the stunning views from Pencarrow Head, which was not far either, making my weekends here truly delightful. however, the check-out process could use some improvement.

Family Room offers a comfortable layout with ample space for both relaxing and planning your next adventure. The bathroom, exclusively for our use, provided the privacy I appreciate after a long day dodging blaster fire.

On the noisy side, the pub scene on Saturday was lively, with music that could easily drown out a starship engine—definitely prefer weeknight stays. Accessing the facilities had its quirks. I faced a bit of a challenge with the steep stairs, especially when handling luggage, and there was no one around for a smooth check-out, which was a little frustrating.

The location was perfect for exploring the vibrant Fowey area, just a short walk to the beach and local attractions. Our family room was surprisingly spacious, complete with a cozy sofa, fridge, and lovely décor that made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed having a Tarquins gin and tonic at the bar in the evenings, and the staff were always on hand to answer our questions. it was a fantastic stay, full of charm and comfort.

Just an excellent fit for an overnight stay in Fowey with real value for money. The separate bathroom was large and clean, which was a nice surprise. If staying over the weekend, be prepared for noise from the pub.

A fridge—every detail was perfect. the location is right in the center, which made exploring so easy, and we loved the lively atmosphere in the evenings. the attentive staff always had answers to our questions.

Perhaps quieter evenings during weekends would be ideal.

we had a super warm welcome when we got there and our room was way bigger than we thought, loved the sofa and the fridge too. the central location is perfect for checkin out all of fowey, especially at night when things get lively. also, the bar was nice, we chilled with a tarquins gin and tonic without it being noisy. the staff were really helpful and responded fast to our questions. this place has got so much character being a 17th century inn!

Charming stay with spacious room

We had a fab time! The welcome was super warm, and our room was way bigger than we thought. The fridge and comfy sofa were a nice touch. Loved hanging out at the bar with a Tarquins G and T. Just a bit noisy at night from the lively crowd outside.

The family room was spacious and well-appointed. I particularly enjoyed the calming decor and the nearby beach access. Make sure to try their excellent on-site restaurant, where the seafood was exceptional! I did face some challenges with check-in and assistance during my stay.

We were thrilled to discover our family room was incredibly spacious, complete with a comfy sofa, table, and a fridge for our snacks! The central location made it super easy to explore everything in town, and the evenings were buzzing with a lively atmosphere we loved. Plus, enjoying a Tarquins G and T at the bar was the cherry on top of our fabulous stay!
